I design and conduct validation studies of technological treatments. I have a great experience in validating heat treatments at low temperatures and new technologies such as UHPH, UVc and atomized hydrogen peroxide (applied to surfaces and environments in the food industry). I perform treatment efficacy and shelf life studies through “challenge test” studies with the main foodborne pathogens and treatment efficacy markers (Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, Clostridium botulinum, Geobacillus stearothermophilus… ), complementing these studies by applying predictive models.
